HATHA YOGA
Eifel Tower
Down Dog posture - This is a weight bearing posture which strengthens the entire upper body. In addition, the hamstrings, calf muscles, ankles and feet are also stretched and strengthened. The inverted position of this asana increases blood flow and improves circulation.
Camel
The Camel posture strengthens the back, glutes, and thighs. It greatly improves the flexibility of the spine. It also stretches the chest, abdomen, shoulders and hips. There are many yoga postures that improve back strength and flexibility. A favorite Yoga expression is "you are as young as your spine is flexible".
Dandasana
This posture, also known as seated staff posture, directly deals with your spine. It improves your standing, sitting and walking posture. It stretches and tones the back muscles and improves core and spine strength.
